A Room with a View
The barn is a self-contained apartment with access completely independent from the farmhouse. It has been sympathetically restored retaining the original beams, and has a dramatic end window where you can sit in the rocking chair and gaze out of the window at the garden and passing wildlife (dog, cats, birds, deer, children).
- Sleeps 4 people plus sofabed
- 1 double bedroom with bathroom
- 1 twin bedroom with bathroom
- Sofabed in the sitting room, with shower room
- Fridge and electric cooker
- Wood-burner and oil-fired central heating
The beds have Edwardian mahogany bed-heads with comfortable modern mattresses. They are made up with crisp white cotton sheets and downy duvets. Toile de Jouy curtains and cream lime-washed walls make a calm environment to lie back and admire the beams. Private bathrooms lead off each bedroom.
